Enjoy taking photographs? Understand basic photography concepts, such as composition, depth-of-field, and lighting? Own your own professional or serious hobbyist camera equipment?

We are looking for experienced and talented photographers willing to volunteer on the Photography Team at all three Forest Park campuses and at Mission Joplin. Those interested will need to provide their own equipment (DSLR cameras are preferred over point-and-shoot).

The Photography Team’s responsibility is to capture the services, events and activities that take place at all of the Forest Park campuses, Mission Joplin, student events, mission trips, etc. Photographs will be cataloged and used as needed for videos, brochures, banners, building decor, the FP website, the FP Facebook pages, and other promotional materials.

We are also looking for detail-oriented organizers that are good with computers, to volunteer with tagging and archiving the photos submitted by our volunteer photographers. Training will be provided.

When people come to Forest Park we want to greet them with friendly faces and a warm welcome. If you can come 15 minutes early for your service or stay for a while after service, the First Impressions Team could use your help.

We are looking for people to help prepare coffee for LifeGroups. Those interested in this opportunity will receive training in making the coffee as well as cleaning the air pots.

We are looking for people to help with two Coffee Ministry opportunities who are willing to work behind the scenes to break down barriers and enhance fellowship throughout LifeGroups each week.

The first opportunity is to make coffee for LifeGroups on Sunday Mornings. Ministry involves coming early, making coffee, and putting the coffee in air-pots for LifeGroups to pick up. Training will be provided.

The second opportunity is to rinse out and wash the air-pots on Sunday afternoons. Training will be provided on using the dishwasher.

The Joplin Campus requires weekly light bulb replacement. We are looking for someone to walk the building every Friday, checking for bulbs that need to be replaced. Contact Mike Kersey if you are able to serve in this area.

We are looking for someone to answer phones at the Joplin Campus on Sunday mornings. If interested in serving in this role, contact Pastor Mike Kersey.

We are looking for volunteers who would be able to help change the marquee sign and the outdoor banners on a part-time or back up basis. Training will be provided. Contact Fred Tullis at fredtullis@att.net or 417-782-2284 if you are able to help.

Jesus fed the hungry on many occasions. The Food Pantry Ministry is trying to follow His example by providing food to others. We minister to the physical and spiritual needs of those in our church family and community who are experiencing financial difficulties.
