Today was our off day. This morning we had sticky rice and mangoes for breakfast, and I passed out the notes and cards you sent with me. Thank you for giving that love and encouragement! After breakfast we went to Thai Country Trim, a business started to help rescue women in poverty (by giving them a job) and spread the Good News (by teaching them and their families about Jesus). Our team picked up Thai purses, Christmas ornaments, elephants (not real ones of course) and other items. Some of the women bought so much they are going to have to buy additional luggage later today in Bangkok to get it all home. Since one dollar equals 28 Baht, these gals were whipping out bills with 500 and 1000 on them.
