What Is Divorce Recovery?
Have you experienced loss in your life due to divorce? The good news is that there is healing and spiritual growth available for one of life’s most hurtful and emotional traumas. Forest Park Divorce Recovery workshops are designed to help those who have been through the pain of divorce to get their life, emotions and Christian spirit back on track. Healing occurs through dynamic group discussion of the issues that surround divorce, study of a current text and learning how God raises lives by rebuilding self-esteem and establishing trust. God seeks to bring blessing, purpose and to open doors of opportunity to your life that may not be seen during this difficult time.
Our world is shattered by events that force us to face the fact that all too often life is harsh, unstable, and unpredictable. There is no predictability, no clear-cut cause-and-effect relationship, and no control. Suddenly, life feels like a car that has hit a hidden patch of ice. The steering wheel is wrenched from our hands and spins wildly in front of us. Panic and fear grab us by the throat and won’t let go.
Any situation that leads to a major loss, such as divorce, produces these feelings. Divorce Recovery will help you get your life and emotions back on track.
