How blessed we are to have all of our needs met by the Lord! We sometimes allow ourselves to get lost in distractions and worries, oftentimes forgetting the amazing things that have been provided for us. When we stop and thank God, it will help us realize how much we have been given, and how great it can be to pass these blessings on to others! The Generations Campaign has provided such opportunities.
We see lives being changed on a regular basis at the North Campus. So many people who visit our campus comment on the feeling of belongingness and the open arms of our church family who receive them. These same people return, and several have volunteered to serve regularly on Saturday nights or Sunday mornings. Many have been baptized. This opportunity to reach people in God’s name is such an enriching experience. Ryan and I have served in Kid City and on the First Impressions Team since the opening weekend of North Campus, and we both treasure these times. I wonder where these relationships and the sense of belongingness would be if the North Campus had never been built by you – our church family.
God works so powerfully on all of our campuses, and this work will happen in an even bigger, more powerful way when our Carthage Campus is built. At this time, our church family has contributed 67.5% of the pledges, and 71.8% of the planned campaign timeline has elapsed. We will continue to save for the construction of the Carthage Campus, and we anticipate the work that God will do within our church family once that opportunity arrives.
