Visiting Forest Park

Where is Forest Park located?

Forest Park's Joplin Campus is located at the corner of 7th Street and Range Line in Joplin, Missouri. - Click here for map.

What should I expect when I come to Forest Park?

You can expect three main things when you visit any Forest Park campus. You will experience God's powerful presence through heartfelt worship. You will be challenged to grow in your faith as you explore God's truths through relevant messages and Bible studies. You will have numerous opportunities to share Christ's love and help transform lives through serving others in our church, the community and the world.

What are your worship service options?

The people at Forest Park are passionate about worshiping God. Because of this, we offer numerous services tailored to specific groups of people, so that everyone may worship God with fervor. From traditional hymns and choruses to the latest modern music trends, you're sure to find a style that helps you passionately lift up praises to God.

What opportunities are available for my children?

Forest Park has excellent ministries for your children. As you enter our church, our First Impressions Team will be glad to help you find our nursery and children's classes. Our check-in procedures will help you put your mind at rest knowing that your children are in a safe environment.

What is a LifeGroup, and how do I join one?

When Jesus was asked to name the most important command in all the Bible, he named two: love God and love others. LifeGroups and Sunday School classes are our way of helping people connect with God and with other people. At Forest Park, LifeGroups are the best place for sustained life-change to occur. In LifeGroups and Sunday School classes, people study God's word together and discuss issues and challenges of life. LifeGroups and Sunday School classes are where people can pray and care for one another while growing deeper in their relationship with God.

Do I need to bring anything?

The only thing you need to bring is an open heart. Guests are never expected to give an offering. You are welcome to bring a Bible if you have one, but most of the scriptures are shown on the video screen.

How should I dress?

Whether you wear your "Sunday best" or blue jeans, you'll see people dressed like you. During the summer, almost everyone dresses casually.

Where should I park?

The west and north parking lots usually have the most spaces available. If you have children, we suggest parking in the west lot because it is near the children's area of the building.
