Inclement Weather Policy
- Sunday morning services will be held every weekend regardless of the weather.
- Saturday night and Sunday morning Small Groups will be held every weekend regardless of the weather.
- Sunday night services and activities will be held unless it is announced otherwise during a Sunday morning service or at fpbc.net.
- Wednesday evening Awana Clubs will meet if the Joplin Public Schools are in session. However, if weather conditions deteriorate throughout the day, you may call the Church Office at 417-623-4606, check fpbc.net, or listen to 1310 AM KZRG for cancellation information.
- If the Joplin Public Schools are closed due to ice or snow, Awana Clubs will not meet.
- Wednesday evening Ministry Training Hour and Music Ministry practices normally meet regardless of the weather. However, if the weather is so bad that school has been canceled, call the Church Office at 417-623-4606 or check fpbc.net to confirm if these events have been canceled.
- Media outlets (fpbc.net, local TV stations, 1310 AM KZRG) will be used to inform the congregation of any cancellations when possible.
